At Woodland Park, we want each member to be an active part of the Woodland Park Family. As such, we encourage each member to choose at least one of the ministries listed below to become a member of and to work with on a regular basis.

CHORAL GROUP
Members who enjoy singing gospel songs meet monthly to rehearse and learn songs of praise.

COLLEGE MINISTRY
This ministry focuses on engaging our college students as active members within the church and meeting their spiritual and physical needs.

COMMUNITY ACTION MINISTRY
The goal of this ministry is to foster a relationship between the community and the church. Committee members attend community meetings, sponsor seminars and projects and develop communication lines to allow the Church to respond to the community’s needs.

SINGLE MINISTRY
Provides a spiritual environment for single members of the church from 18 and above.

COMMUNION MINISTRY
On Sundays, church members visit those members who are unable to attend regular services and perform a brief service including serving them communion. This also provides an opportunity to identify the spiritual and physical needs of homebound members and report the same to the church leadership.

EDUCATION MINISTRY
Members teach Bible classes on Sundays and Wednesdays.

HEALTH  MINISTRY
This ministry enables the church to have a continuing impact on the health of it's members.  It provides planned activities which may include workshops, health information, and health screenings.

PERSONAL EVANGELISM MINISTRY
This ministry is concerned with spreading the “good news” of the gospel and saving those who are lost. To that end, it seeks to implement whatever programs and methods are appropriate.  This committee consists of four components: Teaching, Hospitality/Greeting, New Members and Restoration.

VAN MINISTRY
Transportation is provided for any person who does not have transportation to worship services and Bible study.

YOUTH MINISTRY
This ministry is concerned with the spiritual, social and secular education of our youths. Through this ministry, youths will participate in various religious conferences, youth days, Bible bowls and other activities.  Click here for a list of events have been planned for 2009.

ZONE MINISTRY

The purpose of this ministry is to edify fellow Christians and others in a specific geographical location.  There are seven zones and each zone has a zone captain selected by the church leadership.  The ministry's objective is for each member to grow spiritually, comfort the bereaved, encourage and help the sick, strengthen the weak and welcome strangers, assist the needy in emergencies and crisis situations, provide a haven for fellowship and maintain a system of accountability of members.
